About BYC

About

The Britannia Yacht Club

The BYC was established in the winter of 1959 and was very active both afloat and socially until 2004 when, for various reasons, it sailed into the Doldrums. The current senior staff at BRNC are determined to reinvigorate the club to ensure that there are sailing facilities available for students and staff in the future and for Naval Sailing to maintain a high profile in the local community.
