Dear RNSA Members,

Further to the Vice Commodore’s letter of 5 July 2019 covering the latest update on the route to charitable status, I am pleased to confirm the details for the EGM.
The EGM will be held at Hornet Services Sailing Club at 1800 on Friday 1 November. It is scheduled for one hour with a buffet available at 1930 for those who wish. The charge for the 2-course meal will be £7.50 per person. In order to manage the appropriate preparations I would be grateful if those wishing to attend the EGM (and a yes/no for the buffet adding any special dietary requirements) could Book Online at https://events.rnsa.org.uk/forms/eventapplication/1 or advise the Office via telephone or email (admin@rnsa.org.uk) by 21 October.

There will be a single agenda item that focuses on the proposition:

and a related recommendation regarding the accountants and auditors.

The opportunity for all Full Members to vote at the EGM will be supported by an electronic vote and for those who have declared ‘no email access’ a postal option. Details of the voting mechanism and supporting paperwork are scheduled to be available from 1 October.
