Dinghy Events - Inter Command and NAC Regatta

The Naval Air Command strives to support an exciting annual racing programme including the Holt Cup, Inter-Services Asymmetric Championships, and national and European class events. You do not have to be an experienced sailor to get involved, the team is equally happy to introduce and develop new sailors as well as "getting serious" and winning events when that is required!

The highlight of the season is the NAC Regatta, held at Culdrose Sailing Centre. A fleet racing event, the Regatta is now established as an event held over 2 days. Starting at midday(ish), competitors have an afternoon's racing, enjoy a BBQ in the evening and then complete the regatta series the next morning, departing just after lunch. The new format still manages to cram in a day’s worth of racing with a strong emphasis on meeting up with fellow Fleet Air Arm dinghy sailors and shooting the breeze over a few beers in the evening!
