RNSA Garden Party at Admiralty House - 16 May
This unique opportunity is booking up fast! The RM Band will be in the form of a Jazz Quintette and will add to what will be a wonderful afternoon. Please book your places this week as we need to share a list of attendees with the Naval Base security team.
Following on from the success of the RNSA90 event last year, we are delighted to announce that we are once again able to offer members the chance to join us for a garden lunch party at Admiralty in the Naval Base, Portsmouth on Saturday 16 May commencing at 1200. With thanks to the Second Sea Lord, this is a wonderful opportunity for some 100 RNSA members to come together at a truly special venue. We hope to be joined by our Commodore and First Sea Lord, General Sir Gwyn Jenkins KCB OBE ADC RM, who has also generously granted permission for the Royal Marines Band to play at the event for us.

Harbour Oysters
RNSA is pleased to highlight the great work of 'RNSA Moorings' who are partnering with Harbour Oysters and KHM to support the improvement of water quality in Portsmouth Harbour. A group of RNSA and RNSA Moorings staff and volunteers worked hard last week scrubbing 5000 oysters and then popping them into bags and locating them around the RNSA Moorings estate to commence their natural good work. RNSA Moorings is leading this initiative in the harbour and is most grateful for the funding Barfoots (https://www.barfoots.com/) are providing Harbour Oysters to enable this exciting opportunity.
Oysters are natural water cleaners; an adult oyster filters over 150 litres of water a day, removing pollutants and stabilising sediments, making the water clearer and more able to sustain other plants and animals. For more details see: https://www.harbouroysters.com/
