The RNSA Plymouth Branch has the use of three seasonal swinging moorings at HMS Raleigh Jupiter Point for allocation to RNSA FULL Members who are registered with the Plymouth Branch.

The RNSA Plymouth Branch has the use of three seasonal swinging moorings at HMS Raleigh Jupiter Point for allocation to RNSA FULL Members who are registered with the Plymouth Branch. These moorings are allocated for a maximum of three year tenure. Should there be no one on the waiting list then a member whose period of occupancy has expired may be offered an extension of one season at the discretion of the Plymouth Branch Committee.
The moorings are currently occupied and one mooring will become available in 2020, 2021 and 2022 respectively. After 2019 season a waiting list will be compiled from a “names in the hat draw” by the Branch Captain or Chairman at the Plymouth Branch 2019 AGM on 7th. November 2019. Thereafter subsequent applicants will be added to the bottom of the waiting list
ELIGIBILITY:
1. Be a Full RNSA Member registered with the Plymouth Branch and remain so during the period of occupancy.
2. Be the owner of the vessel. In the case of members being joint owners, only one application per vessel.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF OCCUPANCY
Occupancy is from 1st April to 30th. September.
Period of occupancy will be a maximum of three consecutive seasons. A period of five years must elapse after this period to be eligible to re-apply.
COST
Cost is determined by the MoD Accounting Officer at HMS Raleigh in accordance with Service Regulations.
RESTRICTIONS.
a. A MoD Security Pass will be required for access. This is essential.
b. JP is an operational establishment and is subject to Operational and Security constraints.
c. There is no week day parking on site. Weekend parking may be allowed subject to availability and with the permission of the Duty Officer.
d. There could be times when entry may be refused due to operational / security restrictions.
e. Mooring holders are responsible for providing their own mooring ropes from the top of the buoy to the vessel.
f. The vessel must be insured with Third Party cover of £5Million.
g. Outboard engines are not to be left on site
h. Dinghy storage may be possible with prior approval of the JPO.
i. Maximum size of vessel 38ft. LOA
