CG 2020 - Clyde Gathering 2020 & Beyond

RC (Cruising) - 30 Oct 19 Cruising

CG 2020 is a week of celebration, entertainment and some sailing.

The aim.
After the success of the RNSA & RNVR 's D-Day 75 trip to France, this is designed to encourage members to come together at different events around the country organised by different branches.

The Clyde Branch of the RNSA & RNVR have organised a week's worth of entertainment and an official dinner (Club Ties & Blazers). We are hoping to attract both local and national members. We are also trying to encourage people to make a holiday of this period and spend say the second week plus sailing around some of the most beautiful sailing grounds in the world.

The week is intended to make sure everyone has a fantastic time (Which you will) while showcasing Scotland and what it has to offer in terms of sailing, facilities and fresh produce.

Most people based on the South Coast may consider this event too far to sail to Scotland. We suggest and encourage people to try and preposition their vessels before the event. Allowing you to sail from a shorter distance.
