Cork Week 2020

RC (Offshore) - 16 Jan 20 General

The Beaufort Cup invites sailing teams who represent their associated national services to race over 5 days in a mix of challenging offshore and inshore races. We also require skippers and crew to deliver JJT to Ireland and return o/c.

Cork Week-11th-19th July 2020

The RN team will be entering the Beaufort Cup as part of the Cork 300 Regatta from 13th-18th July. The Beaufort Cup is a hotly contested The International Inter Service Sailing Regatta, hosted by the Royal Cork Yacht Club and supported by the Irish Defence Forces which forms part of the larger regatta and has a mixture of offshore and inshore racing as well as an exciting social scene.

Applications to attend Cork Week 2020 are now open, to attend you must
• Be a serving RNSA member (RN/RNR/DTUS/URNU)
• Have taken an active part in the RN Sailing Team over the last year(s)
• Be a Sports Lottery Member (non-members will have to pay an additional fee)
• Be free to travel on 11th July and return on the 19th July.

Costs are likely to between £100-£150

Cork Week Delivery and Return 4th-11th July and 19th-25th July

Crew are needed to deliver JJT across the Irish Sea to compete at Cork Week. (Dolphins maybe included). An excellent opportunity for those who wish to gain competent crew or build miles towards their skipper qualifications.

Applications to attend Cork Week delivery are now open, to attend you must
• Be a RNSA member
• Be a Sports Lottery Member (non-members will have to pay an additional fee)
• Have line manager approval to attend

Costs are likely to be between £50-£100.
