Do you fancy helping shape the future of your Association?

Central - 29 Jan 20 General

Are you a Junior Officer, Junior / Senior Rate and actively involved in RNSA sailing - then why not become a Trustee?

The RNSA Board of Trustees recently held their inaugural meeting and recognised the importance of making the Board more diverse. A first and key step is to bring one or two serving personnel, who are involved in RNSA sailing activities, onto the Board. Ideally we are looking for Junior/Senior Ratings or Junior Officers and in particular female RNSA members.

This is an exciting and important opportunity to help shape the future strategic direction of RNSA and make sure a wider spectrum of views is represented on the Board. An outline of the role description is at the link below.

If you think you might be interested in the role and would like to discuss it further with one of the Trustees or the CEO (Phil Warwick), please do contact the RNSA office. Thereafter, we will just need a very short summary of your background. Closing date is flexible, although we would like to aim for around the end of February for expressions of interest.

Thank you and we sincerely hope this opportunity will generate real interest amongst our active sailing community.
