High Latitude Exercise

HMSTC ADVENTURE returned to Portsmouth Harbour following the very successful conclusion of exercise ARCTIC EXPRESS. This year’s high latitude exercise saw some great sailing around Iceland, but only one excursion into Greenland due to the very thick pack ice. Over 100 personnel deployed across 7 Legs. The exercise had a mix of regular and reserve personnel from all the services on board. The first two LEgs were crewed by 21 Signal Reg and London UOTC, followed by a mix of individual applicants. JSASTC are hoping to be able to run the exercise again, in May 2018. If approved, the DIN will be published in Dec 17, under the name ex ARCTIC EXPRESS.
